Adam Pase is General Partner and Co-Founder of Gemini Ventures, a Boston-based venture studio that builds and invests in technology companies focused on the real estate and financial sectors. As a serial entrepreneur, Adam is an expert at catalyzing companies from concept to scale. Adam has launched and led multiple businesses, including Notarize, the first online notarization platform which, in addition to digital notary, pioneered remote online real estate closings. Having launched Gemini less than two years ago, his portfolio now includes Canoa, a b2b design marketplace that helps growing companies deliver faster, better and more sustainable hybrid workplaces for their teams; Splitero, a platform that offers a suite of services for residential homeowners that is centered around home equity extraction; and WellAhead, a marketplace that helps older Americans and their families navigate the complex process of deploying home equity to pay for senior care. His companies have generated over $2 billion in equity value and created hundreds of good paying jobs.
“When Notarize set out to smooth the path to widespread digital closings in Florida, I was introduced to Aaron as someone equally excited for change and innovation in the closing process. Aaron has also proven to be an eager and early adopter on ground-breaking technologies designed not only to accelerate and optimize real estate processes, but to further empower consumers and employees alike. He was, in fact, an enthusiastic volunteer as a Beta user for Notarize’s digital closing product, and remains one of the most creative and effective users of that platform throughout the nation. After leaving Notarize, I started my fund/venture studio focused around building the next generation of transformative technology companies in real estate and financial services. I thought of Aaron as a natural fit as an investor, partner and advisor to guide Gemini to re-imagine the way real estate is designed, experienced, managed and transacted.”
